Brooke Zepp had to have a tumor removed, however in order to cut the growth out; Dr. Tomoaki Kato had to remove 6 organs from the woman’s body. The cancerous tumor was in her abdomen, which meant that the surgeon had to remove her liver, small and large intestines, pancreas and spleen.

The organs that were taken from her body were chilled and stored, while Zepp went through the 125-hour surgery.
