I love tattoos and have a few myself but this man is taking tattoos to a whole new level, I mean why on earth you would get your entire face tattooed like a checker board. Oh yes he is indeed the checker man.

This guy was on the discovery channel.I beleive he has a condition in which his right half of his body is larger than the left half.He got this tattoo to symbolize he is not symmetrical like a checker board.

He lives here in Portland, OR. He is terminally ill and has been sick his whole life; his tattoos are an aspect of his existance he can shape and control.

This guy lives in my apartment building lol… he’s got kidney disease and figures he might as well cover up his entire body before he dies. That, and the disease as well. He’s missing parts of his pectoral and arm muscles on the left side. He’s really a nice guy and had just gotten his tongue tattooed when I last talked to him.

It is highly unfair for anybody to judge this man based on what he has chosen to do with body art. Tattoos are a form of self expression and should not be used to judge a person. If you feel like you need to vomit you should probably see a doctor because that sounds more like a personal problem than a reaction to a photograph of a guy with some tattoos.

to say that people shouldnt judge others based on tattoos is stupid. if you want to function in this world you should get a grip on reality just as this man has. Getting tattoos is a form of self expression. people will judge that. Some will judge faverably and some will not. the key is to be secure with who yo uare befor you express yourself…….and to stop careing about what others think.

At first when I saw this pic, I was like OMG why would you do that? Then after reading the comments and finding out more about this guy, I think its great. It gives him satisfaction in his life to control what he can! Good luck to you sir, may you enjoy your life to the fullest!!

I saw this guy in dollar tree store near PGE park, at first I got nervous I thought he was wearing a mask and he’s going to rob the store LOL. then I realized that it was a tattoo. Its pretty cool tho.
