This two faced baby is only a few days old (Born Monday, March 10) and she was born in India, but people from that area of the world are already worshiping the two faced baby as a reincarnated god.
While people from the local village are offering money, dancing and singing…the parents just want their baby to have medical treatments needed in the future.

I hope they get medical treatment asap, like the “last” India “babies”. I would guess it was gonna be twins, and apparently, the cells just stopped dividing. I am glad they are on here so hopefully someone can help this family. I’m sure there are many other medical issues that are present, that just are not being publicized like the obvious.

I think doctors should take care, as medical assessment and possible operations, if needed, could upset the community. It’s interesting to see if this baby will not have any acute cerebral issues.

I think this is nothing but a miracle. Doctors should take care of this children, parents should take the child for the best treatment possible. International doctors should also come to India to see this children, if they can find something different in this children. I wish the child will not face any difficulties or pain in near future.

Why do people think that any amount of medical treatment or praise as a god will help this poor kid? This girl has to go through life being labeled a freak or with hideous scars after multiple operations. I feel bad for this girl. There is nothing anyone can do to make her genetic mutations go away. First of all who are we to say what is normal and what isnt. This little girl is beautiful and heathly, and thats all that matters. That is how she was supose to come into the world, and she should be happy that she is different and shell have some parts of her life easier then us. At least she will know who loves her and who doesnt. What is happining to her is just going to make her and her family so much stronger then we could ever imagine to be. It’s a blessing this baby was not born into Canadian/American society. Otherwise she would never have been relased from the hospital but transfered straight fomr the womb to an operating table. Just because our society does not socially accept people with difference does not mean that this child will suffer. We may frown upon this but it is not for us to judge. Something ornate to occur within Indian culture will be worshiped and if anything will improve her lives worth.
Rather than picking away at how this is possible, how we could intervien and fix this child to meet our standards is obserd. Really, we should be looking within our own culture and asking ourselves what is wrong with us?! That is the real question here. What has gone so wrong within our society that he frown upon a healthy baby.
I am still young but when my time comes to enter into motherhood I too pray for a healthy baby with ten fingures and ten toes.. from what I hear this baby girl has all of that.

Utter nonsense. Indians are so naive like a small children. Unfortunate baby is simply deformed and is going to suffer whole life. It would be better if she dies as soon as possible. I have seen on Indian trains so many deformed people begging. Their family kicks them out to beg, and more you are deformed more money you can get, they believe. Or sometime you can see the deformed animals, like cow with five legs or so and the owner is collecting money by showing it to the people. They believe this kind of deformity is the blessing which brings a good fortune. Usually the family in which this kind of “wander” is born, is hoping the same, how much money they will get.
If Mother Durga would incarnate, She would do so in a ‘normal’ and very attractive, beautiful form. And by her will she can display two or more heads and hands at time. But this poor baby will have to stay in this ’scary’ form her whole life. Somebody says ’she is beautiful’
Come on man, maybe from the artistic point of view or so. But She is a living human! And this form is terrible you have to admit. I doubt you would be happy to have this kind of face.

wow I love how defensive people get over this! First of all, I appreciate trying to prove a point SCS, but please don’t try to bash Christianity, since it can offend people…and no I’m not frowning upon worshipping the baby as a goddess, because that’s the community’s beleifs, and if it’s not hurting anybody than why are people getting offended? In my opinion, the baby should be looked after for medical reasons, but other than that leave the poor kid alone…I mean come on people who is she hurting? Is this influencing our lives in any way? Yes maybe it’s a life lesson as some people here are making it out to be-you know, celebrate what makes us unique and all, yes that’s a good way to look at it, but for the most part, my only concern is the baby’s well being…as long as it’s healthy I think we should be cool…and be thankful that the villagers are worshipping the baby instead of treating her like an outcast…and how do you know that she’ll suffer? By the looks of it, the people she lives with adore her for this, so in her future I don’t think she’ll have many issues…And yeah I do think she’s cute, and not in an “artistic” sense

I saw a program about the child recently on Channel 4 in UK. It was really sad to see that the villagers lack of trust in medical doctors meant that the child’s health really suffered.
