This photo is what researchers in Japan have captured, they took photos and filmed a live giant squid which maybe the first time ever.
These creatures use to be no more than myth but as this photo shows it is far from that, since 2004 Tsunemi Kubodera has been searching 3 years for these creatures, as a scientist with Japan’s National Science Museum Tsunemi Kubodera took the first photographs of a live giant squid.
The Giant squid, the world’s largest invertebrates can grow up to 60 feet long and because they have always lived at such great ocean depths they are only now being discovered thanks to the latest technology.
Who knows what other sea creatures have not been found as very little of the deep depths of the ocean have been explored.
