A cabbie from New York clocked up a massive 2,500 miles round trip with a fare costing a whopping £1,500. The cabbie was hailed for the longest ever ride in the city’s history.

This amazing long trip won Douglas Guldeniz the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission’s ‘Going the Extra Mile’ award. Oh just so you know another award was handed out to driver Adil Aboussalham who thwarted the getaway of a rapist after hearing cries of help from the victim.
