Ok first of all these kangaroo facts are not that weird (well not to us) but they are facts and feel they might interest someone who loves kangaroos.
- When kangaroos are in danger they will beat the ground loudly with their hind feet
- Kangaroos are unlike other four legged mammals as they cannot walk backwards
- One species of kangaroo is only 2.5 centimetres long when it is born
- Newborn kangaroos weigh around 0.03 ounces which is small enough to fit in a teaspoon
- Not the gangster kind, but a group of kangaroos is called a mob
- A baby kangaroo is called a joey

kangaroos cannot be directed where to go by say a leash and pulling them, but only by pointing them where to go by the tail
