i think government has to take care of this and they should have people to investigate all farms and all companies that sell meat and deal with any kind of animals,and CHECK IF THERE ARE ANIMAL ABUSE.This is gross to look at,it`s an ignorance and the people that treat animals that way i believe that they will be punished by God in some way that they will regret untill the last minute of their suffering,again,i am ashamed of being a human being at this point,some people are the scum of the universe

Couldn’t bring myself to watch this; taking a Graduate class exploring the state and future of our global food supply that requires me to view some pretty disturbing videos of same sort of things. If you want to see a really powerful documentary on this subject look up “Our Daily Bread”; German filmmaker–really well done and quite sobering without being overly gross. To Joe the loser: I’m sure the slaughterhouse is accepting applications for any number of dehumanizing positions. It sounds like you have all the qualifications. Maybe you can learn some grace and decency from the animals.

This is for intensive production farms that provide meat for fast food places like burgerking not your average farm. I work on a cattle and sheep farm and I find this video sickening. The people in this video are not real farmers. They are criminals with no morals.
To the person that posted this, I don’t mean any offence but please get your facts right and compare normal meat farms with intensive meat farming before jumping to conclusions because there is a massive difference on how the animals are treated.

so. we should all become vegetarians? in my opinion, no. i know where my meat and eggs come from, and i always chose responibly. in my opinion, this is scare-mongering. if we all took more interest in where our meat comes from, this wouldn’t be an issue. infact, our family has boycotted chicken as the industry bird is all too common in everything we eat. in england, our animal welfair laws are so strict that any sick or mistreated livestock is investigated and stopped. i won’t be made to feel guilty for my life choice.
I don’t support the meat industry even if I used to eat and really like eating meat… why?
Just think about it. If it weren’t for the demand for meat, we wouldn’t be using so much water or grains to feed them… the water supply and grain could be used to feed people who really need it. Instead, we use it to feed these animals, treat them like crap to only kill them in the end for a few plates.
Anyone who gets defensive at eating meat without feeling somewhat guilty must not really want to give it up. If you really sit down to think about it, you wouldn’t want to continue supporting such industry.
And for those who don’t feel nothing at all for the animals, it’s sad. If you want peace in the world, one thing can make it a reality… and that’s compassion!
